Outdoor activities are at the heart of everything we do in Scouting, so a vital resource for all our groups in Epsom & Ewell is our own campsite.
Boidier Hurst Scout Campsite is jointly owned by the Epsom & Ewell and Leatherhead District Scout Councils, and is maintained for use for members of the Scout and Guide Organisations, as well as schools and colleges partaking in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
Boidier Hurst is adjacent to the National Trust owned Headley Heath, just half a mile from Box Hill in Surrey. The campsite comprises of 11 individual campsites, a campfire circle, quiet area, activity field and modern toilet/wash block all situated in 10 acres of predominantly sweet chestnut coppice. It’s the ideal location for back-to-basics Scout camping, or as a base for an expedition in the Surrey Hills area.
